Meetings & Coaching

The Coaching module is used to schedule and document 1:1 coaching sessions. Once managers review role descriptions with employees and define their expectations, they need to conduct periodic check-ins to see how things are going.

The primary objective of 1:1 coaching is to identify if the employee needs help with any of their work. “How can I help?” is a very important question to ask.

It is imperative that, over the course of a year, managers and employees review each item on the role description during 1:1 coaching sessions to ensure the task/work is still required and relevant.

The MANAGEABLE app helps managers automatically include those role description items in the meeting agenda.

Managers also use 1:1 coaching sessions to see how their employees are progressing with any assigned special projects.

Are they Meeting, Exceeding or Not Meeting expectations? Is everything on schedule and within budget? Do we need to make adjustments?

Nobody likes surprises, so employees inform their manager when they begin to feel as if they will not be able to complete the project.

Strategic Focus

When managers schedule coaching sessions with team members, both parties can provide input to the meeting agenda. Managers will want to focus on two specific areas: role description items and special projects.

Some organizations use company values or identify specific behaviors required by everyone. Managers can include these topics in the agenda of 1:1 coaching sessions.
